Power-wash Chromebook

  1. Sign out of your Chromebook.
  2. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
  3. Select Restart.
  4. In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue.
  5. You will see a black screen that says, "Powerwash in Progress". Do not touch any keys until this finishes (usually takes less than 30 seconds).
  6. Once this finishes, it will bring you to a "Welcome" screen, and click "Get Started".
  7. The next prompt will be establishing a Wifi connection. Select the "GCS-Guest" network and enter the password: Panthers123$
  8. That is it! If you are still experiencing your previous issue(s) after completing these steps, please send your Chromebook to the Technology Department.
